Doctors praise fighter Jade Goody`s strong heart
London, March 20: Jade Goody was staying alive Friday through willpower and what her doctors called her "strong heart".

Taking a brief break from her bedside vigil at Jade`s home in Upshire, Essex, mum Jackiey, 50, told mirror.co.uk Thursday: "The nurses are doing a fabulous job."

She added: "We cry, we laugh, we cry, we laugh. Me and Jack and Kevin break down every three minutes, then we start being idiots and try to laugh with each other."

A close friend of Jade`s said doctors are amazed she is continuing to battle cancer.

The friend said: "Doctors are saying Jade is only hanging on because she has such a strong heart. They`ve rarely seen such a fighter."

"Star Wars" legend David Prowse, 73, who is battling prostate cancer, has sent Jade a message of support.

Prowse, who played Darth Vader, said Jade should be "thoroughly proud" of all she has achieved in raising the awareness about cervical cancer.
