Why is ‘Ajab’ Ranbir Kapoor silent over split stories?

Mumbai: While the media is going hyper speculating and analyzing the reasons behind Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone split, the duo is keeping mum over the uproar.

The reason for the couple’s maddening silence over break-up rumours appears strange and calculated. Both Ranbir and Deepika have been very vocal about their relationship and updates in their life in the past but now that the nation is talking about their fall-out, they have nothing to say. Odd…no?
Well, now the B-Town is buzzing with the gossip that the actors have deliberately spread the story of their split and gone into hibernation. Why? The obvious reason is the film ‘Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani, which is releasing this Friday.

And notice that Ranbir’s co-star in the film, Katrina Kaif, is accused of being one of the reasons of their split right before release of the film. Filmdom has seen several such publicity stunts and it’s very likely that after the release of the film, the couple will come out of their hiding and make formal announcements (may or may not be positive).
