Abhishek gets Prabhu Deva on-board for his next production

Mumbai: With Aishwarya Rai all set to resurrect the Bachchan production house from its ashes; AB Corp is hunting for some of the most promising hits to add to its banner.

Looking at adding talented taskmasters to its kitty, the company has managed to sign director Prabu Deva post the astounding success of his flick ‘Wanted’. With this, AB Corp has managed to outrun biggies like Boney Kapoor and Sajid Nadiadwala.

As per reports, AB Corp has signed on the dotted line for a film with Abhishek Bachchan in the lead role to be directed by Prabhu Deva. Even though the director was given lucrative offers from Boney Kapoor and Sajid Nadiadwala, he chose to go with the Bachchan production house.

Confirming the news, a source told a daily, "Prabhu Deva narrated the idea to Abhishek around 20 days ago and he loved it instantly and immediately agreed to do it. So now, Prabhu Deva is busy working on the script. The film is a typical Prabhu Deva film with an abundance of romance and heavy action. The film will go on the floors around June next year."

Talking to reporters, Abhishek said, "We are talking about working together. Nothing is confirmed as of now."
