Abhay Deol braces singledom post his break-up

Mumbai: Abhay Deol has finally given all his female fans a reason to cheer. The ‘Dev D’ actor, who had broken many hearts when he hitched with Preeti Desai, Miss Great Britain 2006, is single again. After dating for just a couple of months the duo mutually ended their relationship.


The couple had reportedly met at the success party of Anurag Kashyap’s ‘Dev D.’ Hitting off immediately, the two had become an item. And though all seemed hunky dory initially with Preeti moving base to Mumbai for her modelling assignments, things went sour soon after.

Confirming the news a source told a daily, "Abhay enjoys life. His parting with Preeti is not shocking. It was bound to happen sooner or later. They have different likes and dislikes, which is one of the reasons why they could not sustain their relationship.”

Talking about Abhay, Preeti said, “Abhay and I are single. We are friends. I will not say whether or not I was dating Abhay. That’s my personal life and I don’t talk about it. At this point of time, I am friends with a lot of people in the industry.”
