The final day of Lakme Fashion Week ’09 was a starry event that saw famous celebrities setting the ramp on fire. The day was dominated by acclaimed designer Vikram Phadnis’s collection. As expected, Phadnis’ show turned out to be a high point with the showstoppers, as it was full of colour and bling.
This was the second time for actress Priyanka Chopra at the Fashion Week, as she took to the ramp for friend Vikram. Along with Priyanka, other celebs who graced the ramp for Phadnis included southy beauty Shreya Saran in a red gown, and cricketer Sreesanth.

Talking about Fashion Week, Sreesanth said, "I think, I'm very excited because it's a rare occasion. Walking on the ramp has always been something, which everyone looks upto." While Shreya stated, "Vikram's collections boasts of lots of colour, beauty and fun. It's very vibrant and exciting."

Vikram’s starry glitzy show was set above the rest by a special performance put up by ace choreographer Shiamak Dawar, who even went on to sing for this famous Bollywood designer.

Though Vikram showcased his collection in style, it was his four showstoppers that got the maximum attention rather than his collection.

The grand finale of Lakme Fashion Week also showcased works of designer’s like- Priya and Chintan, Lina Tipnis, Raajesh Aggarwal. The five-day fashion bonanza ceased with designer Sabayasachi’s collection, giving a perfect ending to this year's one of the most acclaimed fashion events.
